Ipsos MORI's new poll for The Mirror explores women's attitudes and experiences to mark International Women's Day.

Technical Note

Ipsos MORI interviewed a representative quota sample of 1,002 women aged 16+ across Great Britain. Interviews were conducted by telephone 26th February – 2nd March 2010.

Data are weighted to match the profile of the female population in Britain by age, working status, region, and social class.

Where results do not sum to 100, this is due to computer rounding, multiple responses or the exclusion of don’t knows or non-responses. An asterisk (*) indicates a finding of less than 0.5%, but greater than zero.

Unless otherwise stated figures are based on all respondents.
